The American designer of Ghanaian origin, Virgil Abloh has been appointed as artistic director of the Louis Vuitton men's collection. At 38, the stylist has become a real fashion phenomenon. Friend and right-hand man of American rapper Kayne West, he launched his own luxury brand Off-White.
Born to Ghanaian parents, Virgil Abloh did not go to fashion school. He has in fact studied civil engineering and architecture.
Very popular on social networks, he announced that he was planning to move to Paris with his family, but all running his Off-White brand. He also made it clear that he would continue to work with his friend Kayne West.
