Drake's new album “Scorpion” records over 300 million plays on streaming platforms in just 24 hours.
Drake has just proven once again that he is and remains the King of North American rap. The Canadian rapper released his fifth solo album this Friday, June 29. It's no surprise that the album is recording crazy numbers and breaking records. Indeed, on the only platform Apple Music, "Scorpio" recorded more than 170 million plays in 24 hours. This represents more than double his previous record on the same platform with the album “More Life”.
Public chat Sportify, the album has been streamed over 132 million times in just 24 hours after release. The announcement platform has also announced that the album recorded 10 million plays per hour.
Unless someone else comes to dethrone him, Drake panics the numbers with "Scorpio".
