Janet Jackson knows exactly what she is doing. The music trendsetter has teamed up with Daddy Yankee for a new single that reminds us all to make the most of summer.

In a colorful and culturally vibrant presentation, the video takes viewers through New York City neighborhoods, from hair salons and double Dutchde in Harlem to dimly-lit dance clubs in Brooklyn.

“Made For Now” marks Janet's first single in two years. His last release dates back to 2016, “Damnnn Baby”. And while this is an extremely late release for the Song of the Summer, it is reminiscent of some of her hits that similarly explore the boundaries of the genre.
